Three artists set up their laboratories in the galleries of the Neuer Kunstverein in Aschaffenburg, Germany: test assemblies, workshops, machines created through proliferations, landscapes and cyborgs. Sculptural aliens and space capsules exert influence on space and time. The building becomes a research reactor exploring conflicting priorities of function and fiction. Inevitably, due to its cybernetic predisposition, the physical appearance of the exhibition will constantly change, no status quo preserved.

In addition a non-stop-cinema shows accompanying film and video work. And in 'wrekshops' with the artist Paul Granjon interested visitors can create their own 'Robotnik' out of the debris of our civilization.

The exhibition is curated by Lex Rijkers and Nanna Hirsch.
